Yard Waste Dumpster Rental across the Valley of the Sun
Yards here make debris in bursts. A monsoon storm comes through and every street has limbs and fronds down; a landscaping redo pulls out beds, turf, gravel and old edging all at once; a lot gets cleared for a build. City bulk programs are not built for it — Phoenix takes vegetation bagged and tied, branches under 12 inches across and 4 feet long, four times a year by appointment, and no loose grass or leaves. A container on the driveway takes all of it, the week it happens.
Yard waste is bulky and light until it is not: decomposed granite, landscape rock, soil, sod and stumps are heavy. We size for the mix — a 15 or 20 for fronds and shrubs, a 10 loaded level if most of it is rock and dirt. And keep clean green waste clean: the City of Phoenix charges $32 a ton for certified clean green at 27th Avenue, against $55 a ton for mixed loads.

Monsoon cleanup, lot clearing and landscape redos
Storm cleanup is the big one. Monsoon wind and dust storms take out limbs, trees, palm fronds and fences across whole neighborhoods at once, and the curbside programs cannot keep up: Phoenix bulk is four appointments a year, Glendale is once a month by section with limbs cut to 4 feet, Scottsdale is monthly with one pile no bigger than 10 by 6 by 4 feet, Gilbert comes every five weeks. A 20 yard on the driveway clears a yard in a day.
Landscape redos are the planned version — turf out, rock in, beds and hedges gone, a dead palm or mesquite down. Landscapers need a container more than homeowners do: Scottsdale makes landscapers and tree trimmers take away their own brush, and Goodyear makes it unlawful for anyone paid to do landscaping to leave the debris for city pickup.
Rock, soil, sod and the weight line
Fronds, brush and fence panels are light. Decomposed granite, landscape rock, soil, sod, stumps and root balls are not. A 20 of fronds is nowhere near its weight allowance; a 20 heaped with rock is well over it. Tell us the mix and we will size it — usually a 15 or 20 for the green waste and, if there is a lot of rock or dirt, a 10 loaded level alongside. A big dirt job over 0.1 acre also needs a County dust permit, and every load leaves tarped.

Yard waste — the Valley specifics
Every city runs its own bulk and green waste rules, and none of them is built for a whole yard at once. Phoenix: bundles under 4 feet long and 12 inches across, bagged and tied, four appointments a year. Glendale: limbs to 4 feet and under 12 inches, no sod or soil. Avondale: limbs no more than 4 feet long, 6 inches across and 50 pounds, palm fronds excepted. Goodyear: 5 cubic yards once a month, no rock, dirt or mulch. Cave Creek and Paradise Valley have no town bulk program at all. A container is for the pile that is bigger, heavier or sooner than that. The monsoon storm debris guide covers storm season.

Answers
Yard Waste Dumpster Rental — your questions answered
Do I need to bundle or cut the brush?
No. Throw it in as it comes. The only thing that matters is staying level with the top rail — and keeping household trash out of it.
Can I put rock and dirt in a yard waste dumpster?
Yes, in a 10 yard loaded level. Rock and soil are heavy, and a bigger box heaped with them is more than the truck can lift.
Can I put palm fronds in?
Yes. They are bulky and the spines make them awkward, so lay them in long-ways and keep them below the rail. A big palm's worth of fronds fills a box faster than people expect.
How fast after a storm can you deliver?
Call early the morning after and in Phoenix and the close-in cities we can often have a container on the driveway that afternoon. In a big storm week we tell you honestly where you are in the queue.
Do you compost or recycle green waste?
Clean green loads can go to mulch, compost and organic recycling where the facility takes them, and certified clean green is cheaper per ton at the City of Phoenix stations. Treated lumber, plastic or household trash in the box turns it into a mixed load.
Service area
Yard Waste Dumpster Rental across the Valley of the Sun
We run roll-off containers out of the Jackson Street yard to every city and town below. Phoenix and the close-in cities are usually same-day; the edges of the Valley are often next-day. Most cities license the haulers that work inside their limits, and a few keep household trash for themselves — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
